Emerald has been living in the orphanage her whole life. She doesn't remember her parents and has no known relatives. Her 18th birthday is approaching fast, and she wont be able to be adopted after that. She is getting desperate. Then it happens. The Bay family takes her in just one week before her birthday.
The family takes her to the zoo, someplace she has never been. She visits the wolf exhibit with her new family, and the wolf walks up to the glass and looks her in the eye.
The next day the wolf disappears from the zoo.
Emerald encounters the wolf again, and he changes her life forever.
