The beautiful land of Arlais thrives with peace between every race which lives on it: humans, dwarves and elves. But when a dark force, long forgotten, begins to wreak havoc and destruction wherever it lays foot.
Theron Mahariel, an elven hunter, and Daylen Amell, a human mage, are strangers to each other, but fate drives them together against the wrath of these forces to save their land. Danger is past every corner for them, as they twist, turn, manipulate and avoid the power of the darkness and thwart its army, one Husk at a time. It's time for the two of them to put their old life behind and begin their new, perilous life.
Though they will try their hardest, The real question is: Will they be able to survive against the mighty power of the Archdemon? Or will they die trying?

A Knights Realm: Forsaken Rise
The history of Tiseria is littered with ferocious battles. Battles, between the many different races, which threatened to engulf the entire realm. Races and creatures have become extinct, or very close to it, but, no war had been as terrible as the Dark Wars. Over a thousand years ago the Cultists of Volkin tried to bring forth their underworld god into the living realm. They almost succeeded. The cult had been defeated by the allied forces of the Four Kingdoms, and by the Covenant of the Magi. Tiseria prospered and there was general peace in the wake of the Dark Wars. Peace which had gone, relatively, unbroken, until now. The armies of darkness are rising once more. After more than a millennia the Cult of Volkin has returned, returned to finish what they had started. The cult is more devastating than ever, equipped with powers bestowed upon them by Volkin himself. They intend to wreck havoc, spread corruption, fear and distraught, through the kingdoms, and raise their Dark God once again. Releasing a corruption upon the physical realm, and causing the various races to become hosts for evil spirits, the Cult of Volkin is demonstrating their power to all. The descendants of the Covenant of the Magi and Knights Order, combined to create the Order of Light, must once again brave the horrors brought forth by Volkin's minions. Two knights have been chosen to undertake the suicidal mission of reuniting the races of Tiseria and retying the bonds of allegiance between them. The fallen, and dishonoured, Knight-Captain, Ryan Quinn, and the proud, and noble, Michael Crow, must traverse the three remaining kingdoms in hopes of uniting the Human, Dwarven and Elven races once more against the terror that is Volkin. The Chronicles of Starlyn
Elves are immortal, except death by battle or poison. Yet, despite that fact, Starlyn’s mother is dying, and nobody knows why. Starlyn loves her mother and desperately searches for any way to help her, yet it seems there is little she can do but sit and watch. Even the elven healers and herbalists are stunned and cannot find a way. Other elves turn away from her aid, afraid of a weakness –an illness- in her bloodline, and would rather her mother die than taint the other elves with her weakness. Starlyn’s sister, Arria, refuses to sit and watch as their mother dies and takes more drastic measures to try and save their mother. She dives into the restricted books in the elven library about dark magic. Dark magic has been forbidden for the elves because it is said that even the willpower of an elf cannot prevail against the touch of a dark taint. Arria is no longer concerned of her own welfare and dives heavily into her studies. Strange things begin to happen, and Starlyn ends up learning of her sister’s studies in the dark magic and is forced to confront her. The elven law states that if you begin in the art of forbidden magic that you are forever an outcast from the elven order. Starlyn wishes to reason with her sister that dark magic is not the way. Her love for both her mother and sister leave her torn to either save her mother or her sister, and if at all possible to save them both. However, if she doesn’t make the right choice, it may condemn both of them to death, and leave Starlyn without family, which is the very thing she treasures the most.Complete

Its not like they have a group of hunters of their tail, have to find four mostly-unhelpful dragons and, in general, don't get along with each other. Nah, this will be easy. Can't be that hard to escape the goblin tunnels. A giant who fancies himself a chef can't be that much of a threat. And they certainly don't almost kill each other on one very awkward night in a vampire city. What could possibly go wrong? Included in his sights were a strong and growing force of Nacropi, a new species of giant scorpions brought to life by Necromancers. He claims they are preparing for war if there is any chance to survive something must be done right away. Searon has to turn his defensive ideas to the wizard Karceoles, and the new elven archer he just met Anaela. He begins to develop a fondness for Anaela right away, a fondness that isn't shown from even the rest of the elves, because she is an outcast- being the only wood elf in a high elf city. Normally Searon would confide in his good elven friend Starlyn, but she had an important task that she had to leave on in secret. Nobody seems to know where Starlyn went, or what was so important to her that she abandoned them, and her lifelong cause of finding her sister Arria. Meanwhile while she's gone Arria beings to surface once again, finally coming from the shadows to reek havoc on Sudegam.
