A travelling caravan stops in a small town known as Hearthlight. It's a well established checkpoint along trade routes with a modest population.
Hearthlight has been at peace for the past hundred years the locals have been known to do their chores in the pale moonlight. Children have been allowed to play at all hours of the day and even through the night. Well, that is until recently...
Some say they have heard howling at dusk... and well - during the last full moon, a body was found near the creek. The poor girl was found mangled. It looked as if large claws had torn into her flesh and teeth had pierced her to the bone! A horrifying sight, to be sure!

With the deaths seeing no end in Hearthlight, King Ryu of Eternal Flame has started to take notice. He assigns a newly formed squad with the task of seeking out the culprit and bringing them to justice.
This story follows the exploits of Jayce who is Blessed with a mysterious power, Orora, a master at polearms, and Kage, a young bard. The team have to find their workflow and discover who - or what - has been killing the citizens of Hearthlight, and restore the peace to the small town.
