Book 1: The Couple Series The Calamity Ganon no longer plagues the land of Hyrule, at least, not that the hero, Link, or the princess, Zelda, is aware of. After defeating the Calamity, our heroes consult with Impa, who informs them that due to the extensive damage, the prospect of rebuilding an entire kingdom is simply unfeasible. Opting to live regular lives as simple villagers in this new era, Link and Zelda choose to make their home in Hateno Village. However, neither one can ignore one issue they've noticed: even with Calamity Ganon sealed, his monsters still roamed the land. Choosing to investigate, Link prepares Zelda for travel in this new wild-covered land. After receiving a letter from King Dorephan regarding a malfunction with Vah Ruta, the two embark on their quest to investigate the remaining monsters and the error with the Divine Beasts, while also learning and acting upon the feelings they had set aside for so long. Little do they know, someone may be guiding them toward something far more challenging than they realize. It's a princess's dream to be swooped away by her knight in shining armour, but for Zelda, this knight has to be a prince as well, in order to follow the King's rules. Link and Zelda's love is put at stake when trust and loyalty are tested. Can the two break through the laws to pursue their love, or will they give in and follow the path chosen for them? Nintendo own the characters of Link and Zelda, as well as the location of Hyrule and Hateno Village, but the rest of the character are all my own, as well as... the other location.
