We plants the seeds of change. Yet, are we the ones tending to the garden?

About a year ago, I had to let go of some people I called mentors and friends. Since then, I have been discovering what does it mean to let go of people or things, in order to identify a new me, to discover who I am as a person.

I listened to an audio book of The Secret Garden, one of my favorite childhood novels, and thought that as people, we are ever growing and changing; yet, we are the ones to decide how we will manage and take care of our gardens. I often find it perplexing when people do not change, stuck in their ways or they laugh when others do make changes in their own lives. Only we can decide how to tend to our mental and spiritual states.All Rights Reserved
