Sequel to "I'm the Son You'll Never Have". Ross's plans are quite sinister. Ross wants a world without enhanced persons, and to do that, he must find the Spider, and put out his flame with the help of a certain scientist. He wants to show the world how much better it would be without enhanced persons of any kind. In order to do this he enlists the help of someone who has worked on a cure for enhancements and a serum for temporary enhancements. That honor could only go to Norman Osborn, but Norman does not want to work with Ross, so what does Ross do... he goes after the one person Osborn cares about. That person's presence will help him meet every last one of his goals. ***I own nothing except for my plot!*** Note: AOU happened, but Bruce/Hulk did not run away and the Scarlet Witch and her brother were both killed. Civil War and Captain America: The Winter Soldier did not happen in my fic while the Accords were still brought up as an idea. If there are any questions about this after the completion of this fic, please mention them in the comments. Thank you for reading.

The route to school was familiar, a blur of sidewalks and crosswalks. I cut through an alleyway- a shortcut I'd taken countless times before, despite the uneasy vibe it gave me. I've seen too much in alleyways to feel completely at ease, but desperate times call for desperate measures, right? At first, it was fine. I hurdled my bag over the wire fence that bisected the alley and started climbing. But then it hit me- that subtle hum at the back of my skull. My spider-sense. It started as a whisper, a soft ring of caution. But in seconds, it swelled into a deafening alarm. My hand gripped the top of the fence, my neck craning to glimpse whatever was behind me. Then, before I could process the danger, I felt it-a sharp, familiar sting. A taser. Pain shot through me, and my muscles locked as if every nerve was set ablaze. My thoughts scattered, but one thing remained clear: I freakin hate tasers. My body went limp, falling gracelessly to the cold, unforgiving concrete. The world around me dissolved into blackness, the faint echo of footsteps chasing me into unconsciousness. #2 in Whump out of 1,000+ stories 3/2/2025
