Sam is in his last year of nursing school, living in New York City with his roommate and best friend Lexi, trying to decide what to do next when Lexi wins tickets to the biggest masquerade LGBTQ+ party of the year. All dressed up Sam is rescued by a "White Knight" when another man wont take no for a answer. A surprise kiss under a mistletoe at midnight has Sam wishing he could find the man again, but he never saw him without his mask. Part of him wishes his white knight was the gorgeous barista Jackson, who works at the cafe down the road from Sam's apartment. Can a chance snowmageddon and a trip to upstate bring these two together?

This is a short story about a band-obsessed outcasted teen and the handsome barista of the new café. (Cliché, i know. But pfff) Gabe is around his two best and only friends almost all of the time. The people in school make fun of him because they don't think he's 'cool enough'. But Gabe ignores them as good as he can. When the three of them go to the new café down the road, the hot barista immediately catches Gabes eyes.
