He is a young, brown-haired boy. And he must survive. That's all he's ever known. He's grown up in a training facility, with little knowledge of the outside world, and he's sure that all he needs to do is get through his training, withstand the test, and then he'll be free. But there's a lot standing in his way. When he's placed with his team, they must learn to work together if they wish to ever leave the forest. There are only three rules for survival:
1. Refer to each other by Ranking Numbers only, never use names.
2. Trust no-one.
3. Do not fall in love.

But there's a certain someone who will make those rules very hard to keep.

THE MARIONETTE FILES

16 parts Ongoing

He doesn't control people with power. He controls them with their own choices. Riyo Kurokami sees the world as a chessboard. Emotions are weaknesses. People are pieces. And he is the one moving them. But when a secret organization called The Gameboard sends him a message - "Welcome to the game." - the mastermind becomes the target. With a cold genius mind and a broken chess king in his pocket, Riyo must out-think manipulators who control society from the shadows. And the only person who seems to understand him... is a girl with crimson eyes who might be lying about everything. In this game, the winner controls the world. The loser becomes a pawn.
