This is an original story, the second draft of a novel I've had in the works for well over a year!

This story is great if you're looking for high fantasy, adventure, romance, and representation!

A tired dad who's looking for his life to settle down finds himself being followed by a shadow demon, who's intent on borrowing his body. The world is much larger than the small town of Carter, and so is this demon's story. As their lives become intertwined, they realize how true it is that things aren't always what they seem, and that there's much more to things than they could've imagined.

That person is a boy a little older than her, more involved in a darker and criminal life. If you want to know what will happen to Nora and who the mysterious guy is, start reading this book.

This story will deal with aspects of both worlds. And sometimes touch on heavier topics. Be prepared, to read about a character who is the farthest thing from perfect. But he doesn't need to be. He just needs to be himself. Oh, how hard that truly is.
