On the night Naruto was born, The Kyuubi no Kitsune attacked Konohagakure No Sato
during the attack his mother, Uzumaki Kushina and his father, Namikaze Minato defended the village by sealing the Kyuubi no Kitsune inside their own son.
During the sealing process Minato sealed his chakra as well as Kushina's chakra inside of Naruto
in order to help Naruto master the Tailed Beasts chakra, but during the process, Minato accidentally seals his own soul to his son, merging their souls together.
With the soul of Minato merged with Naruto, he is granted with the knowledge of Minato, his techniques, battle experience and battle stances.
