Aila must learn how to adapt to her new home in the Dragon's Mountain. She must navigate politics, the Wargs to the North, and her growing relationship with Attor, the Mountain's new leader. The precarious balance that has always ruled the Mountain's relationship with its human neighbors is coming undone and Aila must find a way to help restore it. To do so, she must find her best friend, Alia. Together they must restore peace with their homeland while keeping the Wargs from invading.
