A man engrosses himself into a new romantic relationship shortly after a decade long romance dissolves. At first, fear prevails over his desire to participate in anything resembling adoration. With encouragement, the new love convinces him to turn his back on angst and live with an open heart. Though the relationship is doomed, essentially the narrative is a thank you letter for the learnings.
In fact, it is based on a letter I gave to someone with whom I shared a similar occurrence.
