Mika always lived a routined life on her family's farm. Always loving every moment, and sharing these moments with a special someone to her, her brumby mare, Bila. When Bila gets ripped away from Mika in an unsuspected way, Mika finds her world thrown into chaos.

Mirri has just reached his 18th birthday. Normally this would be a grand time for him, coming of age and finding someone to live with him for the rest of his life. However he still hasn't found her a month later as is starting to worry.

Unlike their wolf cousins, Dingoes will swoop in to challenge their alpha, the moment there is any weakness. They have a large community that splits into smaller groups only coming together once every season for a social get together and are very territorial when apart. Lower ranking Dingoes can be attacked or killed at the territory owners whim, leaving everyone cautious and mistrusting.

My Mother Runs With Wolves

51 parts Complete

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
