How many hours
           are in a day
                       when you don't spend
half of them watching television?
                         When is the last time
                                     any of us
                          REALLY
worked for something that we wanted

          How long has it been
                    since any of us really
                    NEEDED
                       something that we WANTED?

The world we knew is gone.
The world of commerce and frivolous necessity has been
replaced by a world of survival and responsibility.

An epidemic of apocalyptic proportions has swept
the globe, causing the dead to rise and feed on the living.

In a matter of months society has crumbled,
                          No government,
                                                              No grocery stores,
                          No mail delivery,
                                          No cable TV.

In a world ruled by the dead,
we are forced to finally start living.

Afraid of Being Alive (Shane Walsh Love Story)

22 parts Complete

My life was a mess before the world went to shit, so when humanity was exiled from the face of the earth, it didn't surprise me. Why should it? My life made no sense before the world ended, so why should it all of a sudden change? Why should the dead walking around change anything? Because we as humans expect the dead to stay in their coffins or remain as scattered ashes? Just because we are living we expect to be of greater importance than the deceased. I am Zelda, and I got lucky when everybody else lost it all.
