Penelope Acker hasn't spoken a word since she was seven years old. Her parents believed she was dumb; possibly even retarded. They tried everything they could to get her to speak. Everything. After all, with a mother who was a recognized therapist in Seattle and a father who was a brilliant surgeon, having a child who was any less than the brightest in the class was not an option. Though once she began school, they had realized their mistake. Penelope was indeed a brilliant young girl and excelled in all subjects. The problem wasn't her mind, but her tongue. After a while, her parents gave up on trying to get her to speak. Instead, they enlisted her in a private school on the west coast of Michigan, "Quinn's School for the Gifted," hoping she could get treatment to cure her still tongue while still taking classes.

But what brought on the silence? What has kept Penelope quiet for 10 years? Questions will be asked, but in this school she needs to watch her back, for the past has come back to haunt her and watch that she doesn't start talking now, nor ever.

Note: TFAMG is inspired by characters in American Horror Story: Murder House. The love affair is based from Violet and Tate, though they are not carbon copies. Happy Reading.

Suddenly, the safe, insulated world she created for herself is riddled with violence, fear...and a growing pile of dead bodies. At first Emmy wants nothing more than to forget her chilling new reality - but her admirer isn't finished with her yet, and before she knows it, Emmy's stuck in a nightmare she can't dance her way out of.
