King Thranduil has everything at his feet. His son, Legolas, a kingdom and a crown with all of its treasures, but what he doesn't have is a companion to share his life with. When Laer steps into his kingdom he finds himself curious about her, what makes her smile, what makes her tick, and most of all, what does this average elf think of the king of Mirkwood?

I do not own any of the characters besides Laer and Rovain, everything else goes happily to Tolkien.

** Extremely Slow Updates **

Due to complaints I feel the need to write this... it clearly says slow updates above. It doesn't say completed in the details either. This is an unfinished story. There are slow updates. I have an extremely busy schedule with my full time job, my full time in college and the work load I receive from college and I go through extremely rough patches with my depression to where I do nothing. I have no time to write and in the time that I do, I don't want to force myself to write a chapter because it won't come out as nicely as I'd want it. I understand the frustration of not being able to read a finished story because that frustrates me too, but please be courteous enough to ask why I don't update or be even nice about it. I worry about enough and having readers be angry with me, really upsets me and doesn't really push me to write. If anything, it makes me want to just delete this story all together because I don't know when this will be finished or if it ever will be. Some of you have been extremely supportive for my situation, so thank you for that... again, slow updates and I don't know when this will be finished.

A Lasting Legacy [ Thranduil X OC ] by InTheMaddeningCrowd
21 parts Complete
COMPLETED story with a SEQUEL; "A Permanent Lineage" *Over 34+ chapters overall! "...She had dreamt of what his lips would feel and taste like for literally centuries and they didn't disappoint. The first touch of her lips on his was like a taste of water after years in the desert..." The war of the ring is over. Lady Arden of Ardor belongs to an ancient line of powerful half-breed Elves. Rumors hint at what their powers could possibly entail but no one knows for sure. Some say they are clairvoyant and others proclaim them to be shapeshifters. Many say both. One thing is for sure; all of Middle Earth fears them. But the war could not have been won without their aid and now the cursed line is asking for acceptance. No longer do they want to wander the forests endlessly, moving from kingdom to kingdom as permanent nomads. Now they call for a meeting between the fellowships' 5 bloodlines, requesting a permanent lineage and kingdom. There are just 2 problems that hinder lady Arden from finally receiving the honor her and her kin deserve. 1. The kingdom they wish to call theirs borders Mirkwood forest. 2. The king of Mirkwood is not so inclined on being neighbors with cursed creatures, especially their queen. Raised to look down upon anything not of full elvish form, Thranduil is enraged by the audacity of the creature and her people who have plagued his borders for centuries. However many do not know that the 2 were once inseparable. Long ago the 2 elvish races lived in peace until tragedy struck. Ever since then, Thranduil has hated Arden and her people with a passion. When it comes down to the last vote, it is none other than Thranduil who holds their future in his hands. Will he take advantage of Arden in the process of deciding? Will Arden finally be able to change his mind and in the end gain something more eternal than a legacy? The Girl and the Orc - (A Middle Earth Story) by littleannierooney
33 parts Complete
Completed! "A tale as old as time, Beauty and the Beast~" Rain's family have been taken from her. She snuck into Mordor to find them but in a twisted turn of events, she ends up befriending an Uruk-hai captain with an identity crisis. In return for her help, the Orc promises to spare the girl's life. Soon they meet an old war veteran who can help them get to their destination. Everything seems to be going wrong, betrayal, sickness, injuries... Will these three friends be able to push through the punches life in Middle Earth throws at them? Or will they end up falling apart? And what happens when the Orc, Bogwater, finds himself falling for Rain? *Title has been updated to be more self-explanatory. However, nothing in the story has changed. -DISCLAIMERS: NEW READERS READ BEFORE CONTINUING- •Scenes of Violence, Action, and some Language. • I do not own Middle Earth or the characters specifically created by Tolkien, all I own is Rain, Bogwater, Havish, and the plot to this story. •This story has many twists and turns, please don't freak out on me if something you don't particularly like happens. •This has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit plot. This is an all original plot using my own characters that just happen to run into Gollum, Gandalf, and some others, including Elrond. This is DOES not tie into the novels/films in anyway. • I do not own any of the songs or pictures used to give depth to the story. • A story about self-acceptance and friendship.
