Fern is a lone wolf. She never really needed a name or friends. She was perfectly fine with being alone. But her being alone lead to her being captured by scientists. Fern is injected with serum T5, a chemical that the scientists believe will help the human race. Her capture and experience of testing makes her believe humansba vile evil creatures.
Adam is a mysterious gray eyed boy sent to be Fern's guardian Angel.
