But he discovers the new hashiras of the now demon slayer are the same hashiras he met in the past. And that is when he gets worried, because he remembers their strength. But using whats left of his humanity to create a drug that will weaken him so much giving the slayers a chance to kill him. But most of his humanity is now gone. As he spends more time in the Butterfly Mansion, waiting for his best friends to wake up, Inosuke realizes that he gets drawn to Aoi. How is that possible? They fight all the time. "What are you looking at?" Aoi growls. "I use my eyes to look at whatever I want!" Later, seeing Kanao getting together with Tanjiro and Nezuko falling in love with Zenitsu; sometimes Inosuke wonders if a strong man like him doesn't need a woman. He is wrong.
