Everyone is worrying about how their lives might turn out wrong or take a bad turn, but they never expected this, out of everything. It ruined everyone's life, even mine. I thought I could grow up as a regular kid, be normal, but that totally wasn't the case. But at least I have my brother, my sister in law and my best friend to fight the new world for me. At least I can try and have a little hope, but I only can, knowing that they, are by my side.

I thought I was a normal girl. I went to school, had my best friend with me all the time, played video games... All the normal things kids do. I just never expected my life to turn around in a blink of an eye. Everything I knew and loved just seemed to have ceased to exist, and I was forced to live in a whole other world that was not my own. My own stupid choices caused everything to happen, sometimes I wished I didn't choose to do this. But sometimes, I'm glad I did.

In a regular normal day people are going to work, going to school, going out to eat, or even sitting at home relaxing. Not having to worry about anything. While across the world something is going terribly wrong. When the sickness has a major outbreak and spreads all across the world, the world seems to change. Everyone you ever love is infected. With death around every corner, it's up to a group of survivors to be the last ones standing. Will they make it out alive? Or will they die trying?

Life mostly consisted of me running behind idiots who I call my friends. I mostly spent my time sorting out issues, problems and I usually had a very eventful life because of my choice of friends. I had settled down and all was fine when something from the past came up, something that threatened to destroy all of us.

Everyone always wants to know. They're always staring, moving out of my way as I walk down the hall with my books in my hands. They whisper, they point with sympathetic eyes. They want to know my side of the story. How he did it, how he touched me, what it felt like, what was going through my head the whole time. They all just want answers. They want to know. But they shouldn't. I lived through every nightmare you could have ever had as a kid. You woke up crying about it, I probably went through it. Two years. Two years I was gone. Taken away.

A way to escape your life leave everything behind a chance to be different and no one will know who you even are. At the cost of what? Losing loved ones? Doesn't matter... to leave the life of tyranny to be someone better.

Growing up, my Mother taught me to always look on the bright side of things. To keep my mind positive. Since she isn't around anymore I've had my mind set on opposing everything my childhood has been. With Boy troubles, graduation and no plans for the future whatsoever, my best friend and I set out to find what every teenager seeks. The place that would feel like home. And maybe, just maybe I would find it where I had left it all these years ago. My heart made of stone, my mind gone, I stumble head first into the life of my father and a bunch of heartbreakers, that may or may not be my worst nightmare come to life. but you know, what can you do.

It hurts sometimes. The pain is so overwhelming that you want to run. You want to be free from the world, but what is the cost.

I was a near enough normal kid. Despite being British and an amnesiac, I fit in pretty well in normal life in New York... Until she came. Without warning, I'm taken from my school and thrown into a world that is unknown to me. It might be my past, but I can't be sure... and all I've got for reassurance is a stranger's word that I'll be safe. It's the biggest adventure of my life as far as I know, and it's about to get a whole lot bigger. I may not know who I am, but some people do. And they're out to get me.

It's my thirteenth birthday. And though most people look forward to their birthday, I was dreading it. I am now the Five, which means I have as many years until I die, and it's down to me to figure out how to save myself and my friends. But we have bigger problems right now. The new Six has run away. With dozens of Government Hunters stalking around, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that she's in danger. Things go from bad to worse when a Government leak starts feeding our details and information about our powers to near enough anyone, for the right price. So it's down to me, my four closest friends and our teacher to find the Six and bring her home safely before she gets caught. The clock is ticking...
