Melody's demigod life isn't very normal. Well, you might say, demigods aren't really that normal in the first place, right? That's true, but being the adopted demigod child of Nico di Angelo and Will Solace, heroes from the Giant War, kind of puts a spin on things. Her godly parent doesn't help on the matter. But, she's been able to escape demigod chaos during the school year by going to mortal schools, and she's even graduated from high school, on the road to a proper college. However, she goes to Camp Half Blood every summer, including the one right before leaving New York for a degree. Unfortunately for her, that was the summer her life flew out of control, and Melody was not prepared for the things that happened.
