Katherine Hale is the cousin of Samantha LaRusso. She is Amanda's sisters daughter.

She has gotten in her fair share of fights. She mostly learned karate from all the movies and shows that her father watches when he's drunk, saying it reminded him of his past, whatever that meant. She has been doing karate for most of her life and loved it.

After an incident with her father while he was drunk, she left. She didn't know where to go, so she went to the one place she knew she would be welcome. Her aunts house.
