In the heart of Egypt, Amara Carnahan, an archaeologist and great-granddaughter of legendary adventurers Rick O'Connell and Evelyn Carnahan is working at an excavation site at the ancient Temple of Taposiris Magna. Her mission: uncover the final resting place of Cleopatra, the last Pharaoh of Egypt.

As ancient forces stir, Amara realizes that the dark magic once sealed away with Imhotep has been unleashed, threatening to consume the world once again.

Guided by the strength of her bloodline and the help of her older brother, Jamie, and Zara Khepri, a skilled Medjay warrior, Amara must navigate the dangers of both the ancient and modern worlds.

Together, they uncover long-lost secrets and face perilous challenges that will test Amara's connection to her past life and her ability to stop the rising darkness before it's too late.

As Amara struggles to make sense of her inherited powers and the danger that threatens her world, she must confront not only her fears but also the weight of a legacy that could change the course of history.
