*Previously known as Soulbound* Fallen by Lauren Kate meets The Academy: Ghostbird series by C.L Stone. .... When Sang arrives at Ashley Waters Academy, the countdown until her curse takes her away begin. The boys must find the way to end it before it takes her away from them again. With time not being on their side and outside forces threatening to take Sang, will the boys be able to save her or will they lose her again but for good? Time will tell. .... "You weren't supposed to find this yet." I spun around. Owen. But something about him was different. His usual controlled expression was gone, replaced by something raw. Something almost... afraid. I stepped back, my pulse racing. "What is this place?" Owen's jaw tightened. "The beginning." "The beginning of what?" His eyes locked onto mine. "Of the end." The weight of his words settled over me like a heavy fog. The end? The way he said it sent a chill through my bones. This wasn't just a warning-it was a fact. I turned back to the book, my fingers still tingling from the brief contact. Something inside me whispered that this was important, that I needed to open it. But before I could, Owen stepped forward, his expression dark. "Don't." His voice was sharper now, a command more than a plea. I hesitated, glancing between him and the book. "Why?" "You're not ready." I exhaled in frustration. "You keep saying that. That I'm not ready. That I don't understand. But how can I be ready if no one tells me the truth?" His expression didn't change. "Because the truth will break you."
