We were told of a realm that existed between realities, a realm formed when Aenguls sacrificed themselves to banish the Daemons- trying to keep the universe in balance.
We were told stories of how the universe would then choose a Guardian of the realms, to continue what the Aenguls had started.
However, that was nothing but an old tale. 
But oh, how I called out to the universe, wishing for an escape from my harsh reality. It was all in vain, though. The Guardians, the realms....they were all myths. 

But what I didn't know was that the universe slept with one eye open...watching and waiting. And that it would be quick to respond.
