Hey, it's late, I know, but I'd like to think you'd still talk to me when the world is silent. What? No, I hadn't thought about that, I'm sorry. You can go back to bed if you want. Just figured you could read my words for a moment. It's my thoughts, I wrote it in my mind while trying to force sleep. Okay, thank you for talking to me. I'll see you tomorrow.

"Can you hear me?" she asked. No one answered. "I'm right here." Silence. Not even a glance. She swallowed hard. "Do I even exist to you?" The room buzzed with voices, laughter, conversations weaving around her, but not with her. "Say something. Anything." Nothing. She let out a shaky breath. "Maybe if I disappear, you'll finally notice." Silence again. "Left Unseen" is the story of those unheard, unnoticed-of voices lost in the noise, of people who feel invisible even in a crowded room. If you've ever felt this way, this book is for you. #1 poetry
