2019 Writing Scrapbook Part 2
DISCLAIMER: Some of the works within here will contain photos. Hey there! This is a collection of all my poems at one place. All of them are very close to me for they are mostly -sometimes fully, sometimes loosely- based on my life. Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. The Scars I Carry
A collection I've put together of a few original poems I've written over the years. These poems are relating to personal experiences and emotions, and I debated publishing them for a very long time. I've finally decided to publish some of my work in hopes that they can help some people through difficulties, as writing them helped me. I will be adding more as I write them of course. There are various forms and styles so each piece is different from the others, although this collection follows similar themes. I will be putting trigger warnings for each and every poem that requires them, as well as which triggers are contained in which poems that way you have the best idea of what you will find. If at any point you feel triggered by my writing or by something else, please don't be afraid to reach out for help, you are never alone, I promise you. The themes/possible triggers contained within this collection are the following; self-harm, suicide attempts and general talk of suicide, emotional and psychological abuse, childhood trauma, mental health and mental illness (anxiety, depression, ptsd, anorexia- etc), death and dying-and others. The Light in the Dark (Completed)
Cover made by the amazing @mikeyspizzadope (go check them out they're cool) It's 3 A.M., and you can't sleep. Your heart feels like it might burst out of your chest. Your ears are ringing, echoing in your brain, and everything hurts so badly. Your vision is going blurry as you try to fight back the tears, and you're wondering why you even try anymore. At one point or another, most of us have experienced the feeling of worthlessness, shame, or guilt. We feel like we're at rock bottom, and it seems like nothing will ever get any better no matter how hard we try. One thing we do know for sure, though, is that where there is dark, there is bound to be light, no matter how small that speck may be. There's always hope, no matter how far out of reach it may seem. There's always light in the dark. TW/CW: mentions of anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts. "I know that even when things seem dark and at rock bottom, there's always hope. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel.
