Laura Marano is 17 years old her mom and sister died in a gas station robbery when she was 8 afterwards her dad became a druggie and alcoholic and when that happens which is mostly whenever he isn't out with his friends he beats laura. Laura really only has one person considering she is also bullied at school his name is Ross Lynch aka her best friend aka the player. Laura has had a huge crush on him since as long as she could remember but she knows he would never feel the same way he goes for the obvious choice instead of her but what happens when he finds out about her dad? Will he realize his feelings? Or leave her like the rest?
