That word alone caused his blood to race because he was unable to imagine having a relationship with Meerab other than that of a wife. From the moment he signed the papers, she became his wife, and he became solely hers.

However, she angrily pushed him away and averted her face, stating that she did not believe she was his wife. Now that she is aware of the worst truth about their marriage, she does not even want to listen to his sweet words which would manipulate her for sure if she stayed here for longer . She has lost her ability to think for herself. How could he possibly hurt her this badly? Were all those emotions, wonderful conversations, and romantic evenings just lies?
