I felt my breath catch in my throat as the mists finally released the figure from its clutches, a tall toned hedgehog wearing a long deep maroon velvet waistcoat with decorative gold trimming, walked into view. His silk black lace-up shirt contrasted against his soft white chest fur that peeked out the top of the v-neck. Underneath his clothes I could tell his fur was black as coal and yet, red stripes seemed to break up the darkness, highlighting his features.
"Captain," called a black and white tiger-ess leaning against the starbout side.
"Report"
"We're going to feast tonight Captain, got some nice grub, teas, spices and a few silks," she said licking her lips "and the Captain's quarters has got some lovely furniture "
The Captian grunted in acknowledgement before turning away from us.
"You know what to do. Kill'em and take the goods or anything that catches your eye"
"Wait,"my uncle's voice cut through the air before I could voice my own"Kill me if you want, just release my crew"
The Captain didn't even pause as he claimed back up the quarter deck steps.
"Your honour to protect your men is noble but it makes no differents"
"An exchange then"my uncle called just before the pirate captain fully disappeared into the mist.
"You have nothing I desire" his voice answered in a bored tone.

Then his touch, he feel the soft meters of sheet and the warmth of blanket surrinding his body, a soft pillow behind his head. His body aching only a little. And then his smell... he grimace softly with the bitter smell with undertones of the artificial fragrance containes soaps and cleaners... is this antiseptic? Where... is he? He had a bitter taste in his mouth. His throat pretty dry, hurting him when he try to swallow. Then finally his sight... blinking the blur away, his eyes opening to a white room, he squint his eyes because of the sunlight slipping in through the window next to him, blinding him. He slip out a groan out of his lips, after his brain start to work again, trying so hard to make sense of this situation. He hissed trying to starighten up to analyze around himself, leaning on the frame of the bed with a sigh. A headache piercing through his head. He forced his heavy hand up to his head and tried to stop the pain. With the pain, his memories became more confused and blurred. Still couldn't understand or remember what's going on, he felt more anixious by the minute. Before he can panic, a hand softly gripped his shoulder, gently urging him back towards the welcoming pillows. Seeing a blurry image of a royal blue figure his rapid heart beat slows down. Once the cat was done cleaning up, he looked to the woman for what to do. "Mrs. Aleena, I have finished." He said, piling all the disposable items he collected into the trash. "Good," Aleena said, wiping away what little sweat had formed on her forehead. "Now, put your hands up." She growled, swiftly pulling out a barrel gun from behind her back; she pointed straight at the cat's forehead. The cat froze and looked at her confused. Baby Maurice wailed at the blast's pressure on his eardrums. "Wahhh!" He cried into his mother's chest. She looked down at her baby, a frown wavering between her lips. "I'm sorry, Maurice, but this is all necessary." She repeated this, more for her own condolences. "I'm sorry, Maurice.." She swiftly returned the blaster behind her shirt and went to stroke her child's quills back; each stroke made Maurice more sleepy until he eventually passed out into another intoxicated sleep.
