Many people don't understand the difference between infatuation and love. Many people say they love someone, when truly, they are just infatuated with them.

Love (pronounced ləv)

1. an intense feeling of deep affection
2. a great interest and pleasure in something

1. feel deep affection for (someone)
2. like or enjoy very much

Now, let's look at infatuation.

Infatuation (pronounced inˌfaCHəˈwāSH(ə)n)
noun
1. an intense but short-lived passion or admiration for someone or something

See the difference, now? It's easy to understand. A crush is an infatuation in someone, and occasionally obsessive love for someone. And, if you look in the definition of infatuation, it says short-lived and that is one of the main differences between love and infatuation. Does that make sense? Well, I sure hope so. And now, let's talk about forever.

Forever (pronounced fəˈrevər)

1. for all future time; for always
2. continually
adjective
1. lasting or permanent

Now, everybody's forever is a bit different. Someone's forever could be twenty years while eighty years can be forever to someone else. When someone's forever ends, another one begins.
