Cory's a loser. He lives in the wet basement of Jim's Boxing Gym, hasn't eaten a vegetable in weeks, and gets far too excited about Pokemon Go. Oh, and he can see the future.
Reza is also a loser, but for very different reasons. Ah, Reza, the poor soul. He has never felt the touch of a woman (or a man, I don't judge), has never watched Game of Thrones, and can't tell if jokes are actually jokes so whenever you try to lighten up the murder-suicide, he just kinda stares blankly at you.
And then fate decides to bring these two losers together in what's probably the most awkwardly painful first encounter. I won't spoil too much, but it includes being 10 cents short, getting tased, and Spirit Halloween robes. But, fate wouldn't just place Cory and Reza together because they like to watch the world burn (actually they most definitely would, but it just so happens that's not the case here). Fate needed these two oblivious, embarrassment-inducing, stupid, stupid idiots to meet. Cause there are crimes to solve. And who better to solve them than a future-seeing asshole and a painfully introverted meter maid?
