Kassie's mom grew up in the outer banks. Every summer, the family would visit her former home. It had grown to become her favourite time of year. She would spend her mornings working at her grandparents' bakery and her evenings at the beach. But even though she had been coming to the OBX every year- she didn't know very many people.
However, when Kassie's mom unexpectedly dies, the family is hesitant about returning to the island. Would being around her family be a constant reminder of just how much she had lost? Or would the tide bring her closer to someone? A certain blonde boy who shares more in common with her than she could imagine.
