"What's behind the wall?" I remember asking my mom when I was a kid.

"The world, Kai," she answered. I can hear her smiling.

"Can I go see it?" She suddenly stopped combing my hair. 

Confused, I turned to look at her with a questioning look. She immediately forced a smile, afraid that she might worry me or something. But I know better. I know what's out there. I know why I'm not allowed to go behind the wall.

"Someday, baby. Someday."

After the zombie apocalypse that changed the Earth for good, everyone tried so hard to go back to their normal lives as if nothing happened. However, it was not as easy as it sounds. Those who survived the apocalypse are now living inside a walled city. 

The kids back then who know nothing about the apocalypse, which are now teens and young adults, are now curious about the outside world.
