A story about a boy who is thrown into a desolate wasteland, infested my dark shadows and other mysterious creatures that want to kill you at every moment. Though when Alec realizes that the shadows see potential in him as the next host, a person that is used to sustain the shadows, he has to try and stop the shadows before they force him into a life of captivity, and darkness.
