Fairy godmothers didn't exist, and the biggest misunderstanding the world was to live with for years to come - her name wasn't Cinderella. It was a name the kingdom gave her, one that she was destined to rule...at the cost of losing the only man she ever loved.

~After a young girl loses both her parents and is left stranded with her cruel stepmother and mean stepsisters, she finds herself in a horrible environment. Until one day, the prince decided to host a grand ball where every maiden in the land was invited to attend. The both of them meet each other at the royal ball and share the first dance. But before the prince was able to get the name of the maiden, she had to leave as she had to be home before midnight. And in doing so she left behind a glass slipper. The prince then uses this to aid him in his search for the mysterious girl...but will he find her? Disclaimer: Story is in English! Avoid looking into those golden eyes. One look is enough and you will be lost forever. Once upon a time, beyond the forests and mountains, where the leaves always wore the color of autumn, a girl with great talent grew up, with her mother and father. One day, however, their happiness was stolen by tragedy. Her mother fell ill and death called her to the other side. Nothing was the same anymore. Her father remarried. And in the end, time took him away too. Iris was left alone with her stepmother and stepsister. They made her a maid, a slave. A prisoner of a life she hated. But something deep inside her prevented her from leaving the house she grew up in - her home. There, as a child, she created all the miracles with her mother and wanted to continue doing so, to give joy to those less fortunate. Like when she made a dress for the butcher's wife, whom her husband no longer loved, that made her irresistible to him again. Or when she made a shirt for her best friend Jace that was supposed to protect him from the edge of swords, since he liked to provoke the royal guards. Her little secret. But one day, her peaceful life decides to take a completely different direction and everything goes wrong. She meets a prince. She helps her stepsister win him for herself. And ancient family secrets get involved when a demon she is magically bonded with appears. A long-hidden story begins to unfold before her, revealing the truth about her mother, her ancient ancestors, and herself. But in this story, Ella has been replaced by Elliot and her beloved prince is a princess severely lacking in charm. Elliot's step-father expects him to work from dawn until dusk, leaving him no time to miss the life of happiness and comfort he once knew. When the rest of his family are invited to a series of balls, held in honour of the Princess Charmaine's return from school, Elliot longs for a night off and the opportunity to reconnect with his childhood friend. But his step-father is busy plotting how his own son can win Charmaine's heart and doesn't want Elliot getting in the way. They will soon discover that Charmaine won't be easily charmed. She doesn't need a husband to rule by her side and she's going to use these balls to prove it. To begin my story, I will tell you that I DO NOT own Disney, Disney Pixar, or any of the Disney Characters in this story. Now that that is out of the way, you should know that this story is not based on the pictures from DeviantArt where they all become zombies. Well, if it isn't about the zombie pictures, what is it about you may ask. This is about what would happen if one event from the Disney movie didn't happen. This story is about what would happen if Cinderella didn't get to try on the glass slipper or if Gaston had defeated the beast. I will warn you that this story might make you kind of emotional if you have a serious connection with some of the characters. While writing this, I teared up a little over what I was writing.
