We were just playing around. Nothing meant to happen... So why was this abandoned asylum the last place for her to live? For me to live? I didn't mean for us to get hurt. I.. I just wanted to be fun. We were 16 and going on an adventure. I was looking for some fun... And we found this place at the edge of town no one ever spoke of. We were just playing around. Ghosts are real... I bet no one ever told you that. Hell I didn't even believe it. I was terrified when I found out. But there are things you shouldn't go looking for. Like evil. Evil is something you shouldn't play with. EVER. So here is what I'm gonna do. I am gonna tell you my story. I am Elizabeth Mercy. I am 16 and I live in Oklahoma. My best friend Clare Magnolia. We were adventuring the insane asylum, that is missing its name, outside our town; Eerie lake. Funny I know, but we didn't understand it until we came here. These are the rules you have to follow. Don't go into the dark Don't go alone. Survive.

I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas.
