A dragon slayers purpose is to defeat/kill dragons using their dragon slayer magic. What happens when a certain pink headed dragon slayer fails in defeating a dragon, and only returns with regret and uncertainty. He starts to think if he should even call himself a dragon slayer, or just quit  being a Mage all together. That's always on his mind until a certain Mage comes along and changes how he feels, not only about his skills, but about how he feels about her.
