For my family and society I call myself Katherine Rebecca Kane, Kate or Kathy or Candy, people call me in many ways, in the damp streets, in the abandoned and dark alleys where criminals wait to attack the innocent, and strip them of the things they achieved with work and effort.
For them I am their greatest terror, the worst nightmare they have ever had, I am justice and the law, I am the one who commands respect in the streets, I am the one who fights for the poor, the weak and the less fortunate, many say that I am the shadow of "The Dark Knight" but they are wrong, I forge my own path I have my own identity, I am Kate Kane, but for the whole world I am Batwoman.
And I'm here to defend Gotham from the madmen and criminals who break the peace and quiet of the city.
