Who will the warrior of the next war be?
In a war soon to come, warriors will leverage monstrously terrifying and holistically awe-inspiring feats of new engineering, brave new tactics, and endure new tribulations as they face an ever-evolving host of likewise advanced and ruthless enemies. The Next Warrior tells the stories of a few of these warriors and their struggles to overcome forces an era of new combat. Marines, soldiers, airmen, insurgents, and even their terrorist adversaries will be challenged with surviving the same emotional trials of warriors past, while seeking to overcome evil in the next age of conflict.
The Next Warrior is written by Jon Davis, a Sergeant of the United States Marine Corps and veteran of the Iraq War. The Next Warrior is based on real projects currently being funded and under development by the United States Department of Defense and DARPA, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. The goal of The Next Warrior is to create an immersive narrative with attention to detail and focus not just on the technologies themselves, but how they will actually be used by tomorrow's frontline troops. The stories are written to communicate as detailed and realistic a story as possible for readers wanting more than just military science fiction, but a quality military nonfiction... which just hasn't happened yet. Consequence of Power - Modern Weapons Cheat In Another World Kai
Nagato Kazuya had it in for him with a stray bullet from heaven. Now he gets a chance for a redo with hazard pay this time. The catch? He ain't the big man on top's first rodeo and has to share with other isekai protagonists of their own accord. The problem? Dome one, and you get their powers. If some guy wakes up as an ancient dragon in its volcano lair and wants to end the world, humanity just has to continue what it does best - throw a faster rock. His problem? That rock came in with either tungsten, depleted uranium, or HEAT from a hundred miles away. I've been meaning to write a fanfiction of MWCIAW for a while now, but I couldn't find the drive to do it. But after reading my fellow authors' fanfiction Nihonkoku Shoukan(NHS) Kai, and how they brought the story to life, I felt motivated to try my luck. The story was what brought me to the military isekai genre before discovering NHS. I want to pay my respects to the original and write a properly fleshed-out version. It will follow the same characters, but they will have their personal lives and conflicts, and have actual human responses to the yandere question. I own nothing except my own ideas.

Godslayers is about correcting a mistake. A mistake made by three kid geniuses who inherited a Corporate Technology Empire. They attempt to utilize Dark Tech to change the world with a new generation of technologies. Most important of all this new tech was a clean, efficient and totally renewable source of energy given freely to the world, an attempt to usher Earth into a golden age. They never asked their selves if the world was ready. Battle after battle that claimed nations, oceans and a third of the world's population within one year. By the second year, only three factions remained, political amalgams of financial, military and technological interests. High casualty and destructive rates refined combat, and Dark Tech's emerging technologies- unbridled by energy restrictions- were corrupted into a new version of warfare. The BADB Frames took over the battlefield. Exoskeletal marvels- walking tanks. These suits made the soldiers of the future nearly invincible, while giving them destructive abilities of such raw power and precision that conflict was forever altered. The pilots of these suits were almost all pulled from a previously untapped civilian resource: gamers. Suddenly, age was not a restriction. What's left of Dark Tech exists in three Neutral Zones spread throughout the globe. Three "war free" zones that house civilians who wish to remain outside the war. But a shadow beneath what's left of the world's political system upsets this balance and a secret group known only as The Keepers push the factions past their fear of Dark Tech and into the zones of neutrality. Dark Tech unleashes a new faction on the world- a fighting force that has taken high technology and martial skill to a new level. Book 02/06 (Current Version: Prototype - Version 1.0) This story/fanfiction is a 'what if scenario' within the Sci-Fi videogame series known as Halo and is based on an original character named 'Lieutenant Serenity McKnight' that partners with the legendary Master Chief himself, after the UNSC Pillar of Autumn had escaped a Halo Ring known as Installation 04 by the help of a mysterious alien of myth and legend called a Forerunner. From this Forerunner, it pledged itself and its forces of unknown magnitude to fight the genocidal war against the Covenant, to protect humanity. The UNSC Pillar of Autumn heads course back home, to the Solar System, Earth. A big mystery slowly unveils on humanities newest ally. Will our heroes within the UNSC turn the tides of the conflict in the fates of their species? What will this alliance with the Forerunner entail to go on the offensive? All will be revealed in due time. The story is a 'reimagining' of Halo and is non-canon and is to be not taken seriously as this was an idea created back when I first played the games. The Hawaiian Special Forces
This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!Complete
