So this is based a few years after the death of Caden and this story follows a new spartan who shows up out of nowhere with no memories of who she is or where she Came from, Chief begins to see something in her he hasn't ever since the death of his closest friend and lover. But eventually she regains her memories about where she Came from, and it threatens to ruin everything she has strived to achieve. This also has some relation to red vs blue so yeah. Also I better point out that this takes place roughly after halo 5 only the storyline I'm messing around with so Cortana isn't bad in this you have been told. Ok so I lied in the last book about lemons but I'm warning you guys again just in case I get bored with how the book is going and want to spice things up ok? It is the 33rd century, war still rages endlessly, and amongst the stars humanity remains fractured. The Galactic Empire, forged on the carcass of the old Republic, persists with its conquest for complete and unparalleled domination over the vast reaches of the cosmos, and to purge that which they see unfit as they spread their perversion of what the Republic once stood for. While independent rebel forces with their minuscule manpower each push back against The Emperor's cruel regime with all their might, they suffer tremendous casualties and are executed with exceptional cruelty. This new spark of a Galactic Civil War has already lit a fire too big to quell now, and will only get stronger. The Empire already has torn apart countless star systems, the inhabitants either joining the untold billions of the Empire, or being crushed under their heel. To be a man in such times is to live in fear, fear of the unchanging cruelty from the Emperor's iron fist, fear of stepping out of line. There is little hope in the midst of the scent of death and the cruel laughter of Imperial Officers, yet many hold on.
