Growing up you were smart. Took care of yourself, focused in school, and helped others when you could. Sadly, despite how well-liked you could have been, you weren't very popular, a regular bullying target. Your love life? Now you are 25 and your father is getting you a job. When you were younger you didn't know much about his job, but you did know he was important. He offered you a job at the SCP foundation, how fun.

Nobody knew, that this one expedition, will change your entire life. SCP foundation and its logo used in this book don't belong to me. They belong to their original creators. Main character will be considered as a male, but if you want, you can change male pronounces like him, to female pronounces, like her. SCP-5205, who appears in one part, is my original creation from another book. I have used this number when it wasn't taken, but there is a huge chance, that it will be taken in the future.

Through the journey in the foundation, (Y/N) will grow to like the plague doctor more and more, eventually resulting in a conflict of whether to help the SCP and lose his job or work on his own and lie to the creature he's growing to love.
