Now he picks up the phone when he wants to, is hardly ever in the mood to be around his band, let alone Clara. Being on the verge is taking its toll. Blur is on the brink of separation.

It isn't until the famous interview of 1996 and Clara is bombarded with the question of her lover's behaviour, the catalyst that finally breaks them apart.
