Everyone has a soulmate and it's a very common thing. But that was until hybrids came along.
They are treated horribly and are used as slaves. The exotic types are sold to the richest of people. But the common ones are left at adoption centers.
The exotic types are most of the time sold illegally and are sometimes experimented on. Auctions have become a normal practice and are unfortunately legal.
As I said before, having a soulmate is common but it is extremely rare to have a soulmate out of the human race.
But maybe Kira Makina is very blessed.
She not only has one hybrid soulmate, instead, she has eight!
And the said Hybrids are not the most corporative...
