Mature
Jazmín was abandoned at the age of three in the forests near Encanto. She had been on her own for days before she had collapsed in the small village. She had no memories of her family, where she came from, or even her full name. It also didn't help that she somehow had a Gift of her own. Julieta Madrigal raised the young girl, though Alma's one condition was that Jazmín never use her Gift. In return for the Madrigal's kindness, Jazmín helped the family with their chores and would lend a hand around the village.

But all good things end. Her friendship with the prank, loving shapeshifter starts drifting. Then due to her Gift being connected to her emotions, she is constantly getting lectured by Abuela and starts closing herself off from the family members. Especially a certain curly, auburn-haired Madrigal.

What happens when a lost friendship resurfaces? And feelings that had been buried begin to blossom again? Then the magic starts failing just as she's gaining control of her Gift and emotions? Will she regain her lost memories and find the truth about herself?

Jazmín fights her fears and insecurities as she helps Maribel try to save the Miracle of Encanto. All while trying to keep from losing control of her Gift and hurting the village.

Author's Note: Summary sucks so I apologize. This is my first story in years. I hope everyone enjoys it!

Yes, this story is marked as Mature. Though I don't plan to do smut (Camilo is only fifteen after all), I do however have ideas for chapters to come that may recommend that I use it.
