"So... Have you had any feelings for me? I mean romantically I guess." He asked away after a long paused. They were sitting down at the seashore watching the sun set in. And to break the awkwardness in the air she taught of something, thus the TRUTH or Consequence. She froze. Mentally kicking herself out for suggesting this game. Brilliant, Prima! Just brilliant! "I'll choose truth over consequence, but just because your face is screaming for the truth." She laughed out her own nervousness. He's smiling but his eyes expectant like he couldn't wait for whatever answer she have. And if her eyes are not tricking her she might say he's even holding his breath. "So?" he cocked his head on the side. "Yes... I did." He jerked up from leaning down using his elbows to sitting up straight maybe for better focus or maybe he just can't believe what she just said. "You did!?" He blurted out after he recovered from the news. Wow. "Yeah..." She turned to watch the setting sun. "Oh boy, I did. Years back for as long I can remember." "How about now?" Why does he sound so hopeful? Or maybe it's just my ears? "Are you out of your mind?" She glanced at him over her shoulder. "Well, I realized, you were so out of my reach back then and was so out of my league. Didn't help that you were on that stage and I was just one of so many screaming out your name." She smiled at the memories then she looked at him. Which was a big mistake because his eyes are giving that look that she doesn't want to decode into something like a big, "Why didn't you tell me!" She stood up gingerly shaking off that jittery feeling. "C'mon! Let's race to the villa!" and she ran. And boy, she had never run that fast on her 28 years of existence. All Rights Reserved
