Y/n is a astronomer at her university but, when she goes to London to build a state of the art telescope, something goes terribly wrong. The telescope  somehow attracts a new alien race. Now on the brink of the worlds disaster by her hands someone comes along to stop her. That's how y/n meets the doctor. 

After she accepts his invitation to travel the galaxy in space and time they strike up an unusual bond. Where will it lead? Or is she to smart to fall for a man she just met?

I wanted to play around with the concept of a companion who isn't really a companion, but rather a traveller of sorts with their own set of rules and ways of travel, and on equal(ish) footing with the Time Lord rather than an ordinary human. Yes there's a healthy dose of complicated/doomed romance because I'm a sucker for writing romance. I think it's fun. My favourite incarnation of the Doctor is perfect for that if I manage to pull it off. This is also the start of my take on the scrapped TimeLord Victorious plot line and the scenic route to get to that outcome. There are also subtle crossovers to Primeval and various other franchises.))
