Hades Severus Remus Black (aka Harry James Potter) was bitten and infected with lycanthropy at the age of 4, Vernon wasn't paying close enough attention to the small boy and he was bitten by a rogue werewolf that was originally from Alpha Fenrir Greyback's Pack. Vernon killed the werewolf on site. Petunia and Vernon did their damned best to raise little Hades (his nickname/birthname) even with his lycanthropy issue. They loved him none the less. When Hades gets his Hogwarts letter, everything changed for the small little werewolf with secrets revealed and heartbreaking discoveries.

I don't agree with Rowling's homotransphobic views. DISCLAIMER: In this story: Narcissa and Bella are step-sisters and are not blood-related. The only challenges Harry had to face were stealing the Philosopher's Stone from Lord Voldemort and sending his ghost away in the Chamber of Secret. The Three Wizards Tournament didn't involve Barty Crouch Junior at all and everything went well, in fact Cedric didn't die in the last challenge. Sirius was at Azkaban until Harry went to Elementary school, then he was freed by Dumbledore and was sent home; he needed to prove to the Ministry of Magic he was capable of taking care of himself and only after six years he found out about his Godson.
