They was going to go to the same high school, same college, get an apartment together and even move out of state together. That all changes after Clyde's mom dies and clyde moves away. Lennon finds herself starting High school without her best friend. When years pass and it's her senior year Clyde returns back. Someone who was once the sweetest, nicest, straight A student was now a person covered in tattoos, drinks and parties, and is a complete asshole. ... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!

Love never came easily for Nathan Reed. Growing up, when his friends would get girlfriends, he would always be the single one. She doesn't even notice him, and he finds himself noticing everything she does, from the way she grips her pen to the way she furrows her eyebrows when she's concentrating. He finds himself wanting to talk to her, but after years and years of rejection, he can't do it. When he finally gets up the nerve to talk to her, he finds there is a lot more to the mysterious French girl than meets the eye. DECEMBER 2024 UPDATE: this story received a BIG update! all of the chapters have been revised, and the plot changed a little. i highly recommend re-reading bc its way better now i swear🙏 Mandy was always one to falsely romanticize her life. She found her first love at a young age in her Martial Arts class, and wrote a love letter to him. They were best friends, but it all crashed and burned with her letter, and he soon disappeared afterwards. Now, as a 17 year-old high school girl, Mandy was at the peak of her high school career. She had great success with academics and popularity. But then, it all was taken from her when her parents decided to move to another state the summer of her senior year. And whilst in her new environment, she met some interesting new people, but reunited with her first love again. Only this time, Mandy wanted to avoid him at all costs. But you know what they say: "You never forget your first love...."

When they both decide to do this, they both know that this 'love' is only going to puppy love because they feel that they are too young to be an actual 'couple'. They act just like their usual selves and enjoy each other's company until Liam and Erica find out that Liam has to leave. He has to move across the country and they are both very sad about it, but when he leaves Erica becomes depressed but with her sister's help, she gets better than dates this kid named Luke. Later on, he cheats on her so she's wondering if she can actually get in another relationship until her and Liam can be together again. Can she? If she does, what will happen when Liam comes back?
