"you scared?" "no." "why?" "because I trust you." "well," he said inching closer to me, "you shouldn't." I should be afraid right? then why can't I help wanting to be devoured by him. Koa has an interesting way of thinking. He tries to see the beauty in everything. Everything living that is. But can he find the beauty in the brut? Phoenix is not the talking type, which, mostly comes off as rude. His voice is very unique considering he doesn't use it much. He stays in his head most of the days considering he has endless ones. He much rather let his actions speak for him. But will his encounter with a curious boy make him want to sink his fangs in? Or will it kill his desired urges that seem to never be cured.

I felt the bed dip as he sat down on the other side but I focused solely on my task until I was done. "This is a pillow barrier. Meaning, you don't breach this side of the pillows." I instructed, my voice firm. "What if I don't want anything between us?" Phoenix said in a husky voice, and I risked a glance. Bad choice. His eyes were dark and his gaze was on my lips, to my chest, then back to my lips. "Eyes up here, buddy." I snapped the third time his eyes went down to my chest. All he did was turn off the lights. When it was dark, he whispered," Can't I admire what is mine?" I had no answer, and turned on my side. He sighed. Despite taking two naps today, I was out cold the minute my head hit my pillow. I could only hope that in the morning, the pillow barrier was still there. ***** Adira has a secret, one she would do anything to protect.
