The bar finally broke off, the wood reeking of mold and wet soil. Maya reached her hand out through the gap, trying to tug the lock free on the other side. She could barely keep her eyes open, when a loud bang echoed in the dingy corridor. Within seconds, a pair of dark brown eyes appeared through the gaping hole.

Maya was an regular girl attending college in 2023. When she accidentally goes back in time to 1813 , she finds herself competing the year's winter season. Unable to find her way out and go back to her own time, she navigates through the endless proposals, balls and snarky comments. What she doesn't realize is that a sinister plot is readying itself for the curtain rise.
